Hello Family & Friends!

We are all doing well. Delaney is still enjoying the time she can be outside, even if it is just for 15 minutes or so. Besides swinging, she loves playing in her house and sandbox.

William and I had so much fun with her trick-or-treating on Halloween! She looked so cute and would say "trick-or-treat" or "Happy Halloween" to people. More than once she tried to go into someones house and pretty much at every house she tried to take 3-4 pieces of candy!

What is new with Miss Delaney? Well she is really enjoying school. Yesterday when I dropped her off, she took her lunchbox and walked into the classroom without so much as a word to me. Her teacher asked her if she was going to tell mom bye and Delaney just turned around and looked up at me and said "bye mommy" and went right on in. I am so proud of her but I also realize my little girl is growing up way too fast! This month she is learning about thankfulness and fall. She likes to look at all of the colorful leaves outside right now. Of course she loves to sing and a lot of the songs she is learning at school she and I have been singing for a long time now. So, she knows them. It is so cute to see her singing along and starting to do the motions.

Tomorrow Delaney is going to get a weight check and flu shot. I am hoping she is 20 lbs! We did turn her car seat around a couple of months ago and she does much better in the car. She is a little back seat driver though. Amazingly she knows the way to the firehouse and when we go there to see William she'll tell me which way to go. She likes to ride in his truck too and will say "weee...we are going fast!". She can also climb up into his truck and into her seat like a big girl.

We are looking forward to the Christmas season with Delaney this year. She has already told Daddy she wants a kitchen for her playroom. He told her to ask Santa. She'll be so much fun this year! The bad thing is William works Christmas, I am not looking forward to that. Our trip to Disney World is quickly approaching. It is a combination anniversary trip for William and I and part of our Christmas to Delaney. We will be gone Dec 3-7. If you ask Delaney where we are going on the airplane, she'll tell you "Mickey's House". She also wants to see Minnie, Pluto, and Daisy. We'll be busy I think waiting to see each character!

Delaney is drinking her chocolate milk from a Starbuck's cup! Is she spoiled or what? If we go through the drive-thru she'll say "we're getting a mocha for mommy - yeah!

William, Delaney and I went to see family and attend the pumpkin festival in Circleville Ohio. We stayed at a very nice bed & breakfast on a farm and the couple there played music for us. Of course Delaney LOVES instruments and was so excited to play the violin. She also got to play a child's banjo and a harp. We had a great time and will definitely stay there again.

Delaney enjoyed visiting her great-great aunt Fern!
